This privacy policy governs the privacy of www.jdcpromotions.co.uk and the clients and visitors of JDC Promotions who use this site and enter any information into the enquiry form. It outlines the obligations of users and of us as owner and the way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information

JDC Promotions, owners of this website, comply with UK Law and requirements for user privacy. We have taken all necessary steps to protect user privacy throughout your visit and any future dealings with our company. A SSL certificate is available on our website.

We have taken every effort to secure a safe and secure email submission form process by encrypting our emails but users using such a form do so at their own risk

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only provide information necessary to secure your hotel, ticket or transport booking with us. Suppliers (hotels, hospitality providers and car companies) will receive only the minimum information required to make your reservations. JDC Promotions will not distribute or otherwise misuse your information. This policy covers ANY information you provide to include your name and your email address.

Your privacy is extremely important to us so we want you to know exactly what kind of information we collect about you whether you are a customer, potential customer or just enquirer (whether as a direct booker, via a corporate partner, third party travel arranger, website visitor, app user, job applicant or otherwise).

In order for us to provide you with our services we need to collect personal data for booking hotels and notifying relevant suppliers and government agencies as per required legislation.  We are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

We use your information for accounting purposes and to provide you with related customer service.

To occasionally send you marketing communications in the form of a newsletter

Using your information, we may from time to time contact you with our latest news and hotel updates and race ticket offers which we think might be of interest or relevant to you (either on the basis of your consent where we have requested it, or our legitimate interests to provide you with marketing communications where we may lawfully do so).

Travel suppliers and other third party service providers

We share information such as names and occasionally mobile phone numbers with hotels and travel service providers (for example, car hire companies, ground agents and online booking/management providers), as necessary to book your travel and provide travel-related services to you and your employer.

We may disclose information to regulatory authorities, courts, and government agencies where we believe doing so would be permitted or required by law, regulation or legal process.

We do not sell information to third parties so that they can independently market their own products or services directly to you.

Our contractors are obliged to keep your details securely, and use them only to fulfil the service they provide to you on our behalf.

OCCASIONAL MARKETING AND NEWSLETTERS

Collecting your data helps us understand what products and services are of interest to you, enabling us to deliver an improved offering and customer experience.

JDC Promotions sends occasional newsletters to clients who have agreed to receive it. We use no tracking facilities on this newsletter.

SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

This website and our associated email newsletters use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages and email newsletters to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.

FACEBOOK ADVERTISING
From time-to-time we use Facebook as a platform for marketing to existing customers and prospective customers. Using Facebook’s Custom Audiences certification tool we must represent and warrant to Facebook that we (as the advertiser) have received user consent to use personal data for this purpose. You have the right to request to for your personal data not to be used for the purpose of Facebook advertising and can do so by emailing enquiries@jdcpromotions.co.uk

SHORTENED LINKS IN SOCIAL MEDIA
This website and its owners through their social media platform accounts may share web links to relevant web pages. By default, some social media platforms shorten lengthy urls.

Users are advised to take caution and good judgement before clicking any shortened urls published on social media platforms by this website and its owners. Despite the best efforts to ensure only genuine urls are published some social media platforms are prone to spam and hacking and therefore this website and its owners cannot hold responsibility for this.
